I didn’t understand the Stanley hype until my sister in law decided to upgrade her Stanley and passed along this one in the rose quartz color to me. I’m currently 8 months pregnant and live somewhere that is hot most of the year and it’s hard for me to stay hydrated because I’ve been experiencing some food aversions. If water isn’t very cold, I can “smell” it and it turns me off. I was using a Starbucks tumbler but it wasn’t keeping any liquids cold for a significant amount of time and it doesn’t hold nearly as much water as this baby!
I fill it up, 4-6 pieces of ice and it stays cold for hours. Even in the hot car! And Lord knows you can’t leave plastic in a hot car as the plastic can leach into the water and poison you. I was so impressed with this water bottle that everyone in the family has one now! This Stanley has singlehandedly kept me hydrated. I use it exclusively now, even in the house. And I love the fold down straw that does NOT leak and the heavy duty carrying handle. It’s also really easy to clean and very durable as I’ve dropped it quite a bit due to my pregnant butter fingers. I am so looking forward to having this in my arsenal to stay hydrated when I start breastfeeding. If you’re on the fence or have qualms about the price (which I totally didn’t understand until I was gifted this one), trust me, its for a reason. This thing is quality.

I have bought every popular brand of stainless steel water bottle for my kids. Nothing compares to the quality of Stanley. These hold ice for really long periods of time. I never have an issue with dings from drops like other popular brands. I love the variety of sizes and colors. 20 oz is perfect for my younger kids to take everywhere. The handle is so convenient and the sip spout closes easily for little hands. These never leak as long as the spout is shut. Love these!

Unlike regular Stanley’s seen everywhere, you can flip this one upside down and it DOESN’T LEAK! Although, if you kept the straw part up/open, it will leak.

Bought this to be used as my daughter’s volleyball water bottle because it’s large and holds a lot of water. She uses it constantly and keeps it with her all day at school. She can fill it in the morning with ice and water and the next morning it still has some ice left in it from the previous day. This style with the screw on lid, flip up straw, and durable handle is preferred over the style with the side handle and non retractable straw because it fits better in the side pocket of a backpack and into a cup holder. Also, it doesn’t leak!
