This light does heat up very well but it’s not super great at providing a lot of heat so definitely make sure what temperature you need your animals home at. For me personally it is hot in Texas and only use it in the mornings while it’s cooler and later turn it off since my tortoises home is outside. So he already gets enough sun and heat during the day. Also know it is only UVA because some reptiles require different types. Very affordable though.

I got these over a month or so ago and have had 0 issues!💡 Perfect to use as “daytime bulbs”.
they’re BRIGHT, and super hot!!
(when kept the right distance away at the top of the enclosure) they are perf for my babie(s) to bask under, warm up with, & all that good stuff. 🐢
🔆i bought 2, and will definitely be buying more in the future just cause the value for money is really great.👍🏻
***SIDENOTE:
THESE DO NOT HAVE UVB, I dont think they’re advertised as having it. But just adding this as a heads up to anyone new to having to purchase for the same reason i bought them for, you will need to get separate UVB bulbs for u tort / animal 🙂
