Listing says “Batteries No” but you do require 3x AAA batteries per light, so 18 in total.
I received 1 broken light, so 5 working, but cannot seller to arrange a replacement. Just the Amazon assistant which wants me to return all (not necessary) and no other options.

3 star based on broken bulb and lack of direct customer service. Also, the misleading description stating no to batteries required.

whether on decking or camping, these lights are only as good as the batteries used. each has 4 settings ccessed from the single button, bright enough to be easily seen/dimmed , enough light for subdued lighting/off/flashing strobe, if hiking or camping and in difficulty, with good batteries this fast bright flashing light should last hours, attracting passers by, rescuers. light enough and strong enough for top of a backpack, they are at least water resistant, at a push if need be they could be thrown into a clearing to attract attention. runs on 3 aaa batteries . a carribina comes with each light for hanging but these are only strong enough for 1 light.

Very bright , they did smell when I first opened them and 1 didn’t work ,otherwise good.

Very dangerous!!! Started smoking as soon as a pit a battery in. Fire hazard do not buy!! Very chemical smell to them
