These are GREAT. We were really hot this summer and my Dane just gulped the water and left a pool every where. I put a piece of plastic down and then put a small crate pan (from a wire dog crate) and then put this matt down and now the water stays for the most part on the mat. This matt is incredible on how it soaks up the water. I change it (bought two) every day or every other day and they only issue is it takes forever to dry in the dryer so since we are still triple digits I just hang it out to dry during the day and by late afternoon it is all nice and dry. Great slopmat. Highly recommend

I have three pit bulls, two are 8 months old. I was looking for an absorbent mat for under their water bowl. I don’t like the rubber mats because they just hold the water. I have had this mat for several months. It is exactly what I was looking for. It absorbs all the excess water that falls out of the dog’s mouths. I was worried it would smell moldy but I wash it every other week with vinegar and it doesn’t smell at all. I would definitely recommend this product!

This does soak up the water but, her 2 dishes (water and food) barely fit on it. I measured the rug I was using and ordered that size. This is NOT that size.

The mat is a great size to put under a single dog bowls or a small dog bowl stand. Works well for the purposes we need it for and seems to be soaking up most of the water from our very messy puppy..
