I bought these USB to USB-C adapters after Apple made the switch to USB-C, and I still had plenty of USB-A plug sockets lying around. These do the job well—they’re small, compact, and fit securely into ports without sticking out too much. I’ve mainly used them in wall sockets for charging, but they’ve also worked fine for data transfer when needed.

Got these because my car has a USB-A port and my phone uses USB-C. So they provide a simple way to connect your phone to your car for charging, CarPlay and even android auto. They are small and discreet and don’t take up a lot of space. I also have a dash cam plugged into my 12 volt socket which has a USB-A socket on the end. As they come in packs of three I was able to convert that socket to USB-C with ease. So all of the USB- A sockets in my car have a USB-C port thanks to these nifty plugs.
They come in packs of three and are well worth the money. A problem solved in the simplest way.
I chose the black as they wouldn’t be seen much, but they come in other colours if they are likely to be noticed. They charge my iPhone just as fast as they should. They are of good quality as far as I can tell and I hope they last.
