We have four tanks, so it’s always a good idea to have extra necessities on hand in case something stops working. When does something stop working? Inevitably on a Sunday night and all the stores are closed. So I keep a stash.

This little filter is a power house for the size of it. The price was great so I bought another one for another one of my tanks.
It really blows the water around so I had to put the rain part on it to keep from blowing my fish out of the tank, lolol

Almost cooked my betta. Instruction sheet says unit must be fully submerged, motor gave off way too much heat. Other issues: Bottom panel that comes off to clean “filter foam” block snaps on and is VERY thin plastic…will probably crack after a few removals, clear hose that can be used as a return extension is sharply kinked in 2 places and kinks do not open when hose is unfolded, slide switch to adjust flow is very flimsy and thin plastic, unit has 3 tiny suction cups…no hanging clamp or bracket. Will probably return.

Las ventosas son muy pequeñas para el peso d el bomba, y tengo problemas a la sumergirse todo no filtra así que tengo que dejarla un poco salida del agua

I bought 1 of those in April 2024, it’s January 2025.
My tank started getting cloudy so I rinsed the filter media and changed the water like I do every month and it was still cloudy so I waited 3 days and changed the water again and it was still cloudy.
I put in a new filter last night and woke up to a crystal clear tank.

This filter is TINY. My first purchase for a 10 gallon tank filter, and it’s so small I would not even trust it to filter 1 gallon. In my opinion, this is only good for a beta tank or possibly a single gold fish, but even then, goldfish produce a lot of waste, so I wouldn’t even trust it for a pet goldfish.
